Hey guys !

A second shot of the shoot we did for the fstoppers 2011 BTS video contest ! Really wished his entire body would have been lit on flames but…Ahhhh … summertime we shall make this more epic…

I prob won't have internet by the time this uploads (on delayed upload) so please tag yourselves!

For this shoot I wanted to take things a little farther than usual… so I shot a stuntman performing sunt combos on motorcycle… but of course just that wouldnt do it… sooo we lit him on fire !!

Be sure to check out the BTS contest video by Erwan over here and see all the sad mishaps!

Hey guys, got a quick game for you guys tonight.

What do you think this man's profession is?

HINT: whatever you guessed, it's probably wrong!

Andre is actually a Spoken Word artist. He was on the 2010 Calgary SLAM team and competed on a National level. I had the chance to meet him very briefly during a short shoot for Greg "Krypto" Selinger and his team of talented Body Slam artists.

Took this shot in a nifty little alleyway in about 12 seconds right before a show using nothing more than my trusty Nikon D700 and my new baby a Nikon 85mm f/1.4G with…. no flashes (*insert gasps of astonishment here*)

Special thanks to Linda for assisting me during this shoot. She actually has a Nikon D3000 up for sale at a ridiculously cheap price for anyone thinking of starting photography. Check it out here: http://montreal.kijiji.ca/f-buy-and-sell-cameras-camcorders-W0QQCatIdZ103QQerrorIdZ1

We all believed it at some point in time…

Don't stop dreaming, sometimes its the only thing that keeps us up.

Ups and downs. I'm finding that unlike last year, this year I am quite interested in absorbing sun rays than being cooped up indoors editing! That being said, the contracts are flowing in especially with wedding season fast approaching, I'm starting to feel the pinch :P

Tomorrow, I'm having coffee with a professional photographer by the name of Damian Siquieros. Totally stocked. Check out hist stuff, its quite amazing: http://www.damiansiqueiros.com/

Shot over a weekend in a not-quite-abandonned building we ninja'ed into over in St-Leonard with the amazing athelete/model Vladimir who actually suffered second degree burns during the shoot. Be sure to check back to see the making of video by Eva Jinn Productions!

Special thanks to Ryan Millward for being our location scout and Liz Keith for assisting

Title:  3Starz - http://www.myspace.com/3starzofficialms

"The band was created in the beginning of 2010 with Medmaroki (Vocals/Bass), Yann (Guitar/Back Vocals) & Marc (Drums).
The band is young, fresh & full of talent!
Our goal is to make awesome music that will make you smile, & make you wanna jump around! :)
We want to get signed on a label as soon as possible!
We'll do whatever it takes to get our name in the music industry. "

Had a great time shooting these three clowns! It's not everyday that you find a band jumping to any wild suggestion that pops into my crazy little mind.

"Think you three could fit on that tiny chair over there?" - well, you got your answer =)

Pop over to their myspace to listen to some of their tunes!

Title: Shades of Grey - The Cast
Like the shot? Fav it!

In the end, when they see us in those pictures.

Are we not the same, nothing but shades of grey on

the silver screen.

by Philippe Mckie

Phil's passion and dedication for his filming process struck a chord within me during our first shooting.

Consequently, I offered to do a dedicated series of studio portraits for a couple of the protagonists in the midst of one of his shoot days, which he gladly accepted.

Lately, I've been drowning in work but I finally scrapped together a couple hours between a shoot and the 4 hours of sleep I've been surviving on to edit this fantastic image illustrating the protagonists May (Model: Oli ) and Russ (Model: Ivan) as well as "The Killer" portrayed by none other than Philippe himself.

Last Saturday I was asked to photograph a couple stills for upcoming film director Philippe Mckie at the Marriott. I took the opportunity to also take a couple more creative stuff that could potentially be used for a future poster.

It was my first time on an actual film shooting set and I had a great time sniffing around and seeing all the differences between photography and filming. The crew was great fun to be around and I will most probably do another shoot with them in the near future.
